Subtitles and audio tracks

Pick the language you want to hear and read, and make subtitles easy to read on any screen.

Choose the audio track and subtitles

While a movie or episode plays, open Audio & Subtitles in the player. Pick an audio track on one side and a subtitle on the other, or turn subtitles off. AREZTV remembers your choice.

Change how subtitles look

Go to Settings › Playback › Subtitle Appearance. You can change:

  • Size, from Extra Small to Huge
  • Font: System, Serif or Typewriter

A preview shows how your subtitles will look. The change applies when you close the screen.

Subtitles with wrong or broken letters

If letters show as boxes or strange symbols, the subtitle file uses a different character encoding. In Subtitle Appearance, change Character encoding from Automatic to the one for your language, for example Turkish, Cyrillic, Arabic, Greek, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Chinese or Korean.

AREZTV is a media player only. It does not include any channels or content. You need the playlist or login details from your own IPTV provider.

Questions

Why do I see no subtitles?

Subtitles come from your provider together with the video. If the player shows No subtitles available, that movie or episode has none.

Can I change subtitles on Apple TV?

Yes. Audio tracks, subtitles and subtitle appearance are available on Apple TV too.
